FAQs

At Pumpmaster we understand that your time is valuable and you need a fast response. Please see if any of your enquiries can be answered in our frequently asked questions list.

Q . Can I order smaller than a pack quantity? (split packs)

A.
Yes, but there are some smaller products that we will not split a pack (mostly micro irrigation products).  Our warehouse staff will appreciate pack sizes and may give you a call if they think it will help your ordering.

Q . Can I pay my account with a credit card?

A.
Yes, but it will incur a processing fee.

Q . Can I return stock that hasn't moved?

A.
Returns can only be considered if the goods are still current and in "as new" condition, but will incur a restocking fee.

Q . Can I take stock on consignment?

A.
No.  Our product range should be easy for you to sell within normal trading terms and there should be enough margin worked in for you to help pay for the stock on your display for longer periods.  Consignment stock is very difficult to administer, difficult to control stock and has its own insurance issues.  These problems make it nonviable for Pumpmaster to implement.

Q . Do you supply display stands?

A.
Yes, but they are only to be used with Pumpmaster stock, and they must be kept stocked.  We may decide to issue FOC if enough initial and ongoing orders justify the cost of the display.

Q . Does Pumpmaster have a pump that can handle (a liquid) other than water?

A.
Pumpmaster pumps are designed for clean water pumping only, except in the case of engine drive where we have a model which will handle chemicals, fertilizer etc.  However, this is not to say that the other various models can not pump other than water, but we need to take on as a case- by –case issue. If you supply details we will do our best to make a recommendation.

Q . I have a pump and I'm quite sure its a warranty. Who is going to pay the freight if I send a pump back for repairs under warranty?

A.
We always stipulate that the dealer pays the freight for the return of the goods.  We can, in some circumstances, offer our freight company account to handle the freight to reduce expenses.  We do this because the majority of the pumps we look at are not warranty and it is a very hard cost to recover after the event.
We are always open to negotiation so please don't hesitate to communicate with us about these type of issues. Credits can be issued if we deem it appropriate.

Q . Where are your pumps made?

A.
Our premium  range of  products  are sourced from Japan, USA,  Italy and Taiwan. We also bring in some economy models from China , where we spec. to our requirements with materials such as stainless steel 304 grade shafts, C3 high grade bearings, upsized capacitors and seal.

Q . Who do I contact if the goods don't arrive?

A.
Any of our team will be more than happy to track any consignment for you providing it has not been sent by Australia Post.
